- More course and class info: If you cannot locate your class # or CRN there could be several reasons. Some classes are cross listed or grouped with another class,i.e. Math 109/110, CD109y/109z, Art350/351. Some classes say "all sections" instead of listing each CRN. They all use the same text. Another reason is that the instructor may not have ordered any books at this time. We are constantly adding and changing books as the instructors edit their course requirements and this site is updated within 15 minutes.
- You can change your order by emailing books1@humboldt.edu. If you drop a class or add one and need to change your order, please call or email or fax us and mention the order # with new details. More contact information is below. We will make every effort to correct your order before you pick it up in the store.
- Some books are listed as "recommended" which means they are NOT required but may be helpful. It is sometimes best to go to class before purchasing these titles. The instructor may have some advice on how helpful they could be. Others are listed as a "choose" which means there are options in how you get the required text. It may be available in a publisher package with a reduced price on the additional materials,i.e.Zumdhal:Chem+SM w/egrade. Each student has different needs to be successful in a course and these packages could be beneficial. There may also be an EBK version of selected texts. This means the book is in an electronic format which is downloaded to your computer. These are sold as a card embedded with a code that is activated at the register.
- What are the books with "**S$" following the author's name? These new books have "web competetive" pricing. We continue to try to offer the best possible prices by bringing in as many used books as are available, searching for the most reasonable vendors, and discounting books when possible. Approximately 50% of our books are used.
- Many instructors create their own custom published copy packet or lab manual.Since these often become available the first week of class they may not show up online for those classes. They may not be available to pick up early and they are non-returnable.
